Blizzard has given Diablo IV players a start date for Season 3 within the game. The problem is, there’s no other details about the season available yet, despite the start date being less than two weeks away.
Regular players will have noticed that the in-game banner announcing the end of Season 2, now shows the start date (January 23rd) for Season 3. Interestingly, Season 3 doesn’t have a title the same way Season 2: The Season of Blood did.
The other interesting choice here is that with January 23rd being the start date for Season 3, there’s no pause between the seasons as has been the previous case. I’ve attempted via a couple of personal contacts to confirm what’s going on, but haven’t yet received a response.
