After a post just a couple of days ago, the details about the upcoming Season 3 for Diablo IV are coming. We’ll know more on the 18th of January (19th in the very early hours for Aussies) from the developer live stream announced on X.

Our next Developer Update Livestream begins on January 18 at 9 a.m. PST and will unearth details about the next season’s gameplay features, Season Journey, and quality-of-life updates. Plus, we’ll also share information about the new competitive leaderboard system—The Gauntlet.
In my eyes that’s all exciting news because it means the casual gamers have something to look forward to. As important is the hardcore gamers who play daily for several hours, and will no doubt, relish the chance for the game to become competitive between players.
I’ll be watching on catch up TV (aka YouTube) during the day, because 3:30 am is a bit on the early side of the clock for me; but I look forward to the details.
